5 schools took part in this annual event for the Millfield cluster and it was hosted by Stanah school on Weds 4th May. The schools involved were, Stanah, Northfold, Manor Beach, Thornton and Sacred Heart.
The event is primarily for those footballers in Year 5/6 who do not play for their school 'A' team. This gives them the chance to represent their school, many for the first time and play competitive football.
The afternoon went fantastically well with each school playing each other for 9 minutes. The overall results were worked out by points.
2 Year 10 students from Millfield refereed all the games and they did a brilliant job.
The winners for 2010 were Manor Beach, with Thornton in 2nd place, and Stanah in 3rd place.
