Rounders Umpire Course
St Aidan's Key Stage 4 students had the opportunity to develop their rounders skills this week by undertaking their Rounders Umpire qualification, GCSE students and Sports Leaders were enrolled on the one day course designed to improve their skills and understanding of the rounders game, whilst qualifying to umpire matches. students spent the day being coached by Mike Kennedy of Canterbury Belles and England International Lauren Calvert. Students had a great day basking in the sunshine whilst improving their officiating grades for their GCSE examinations. At the end of the day St Aidan's were presented with equipment worth over 350 pounds, and 30 qualified umpires! Well Done to all who took part.
