For the first time St Aidan's PE department held a sport's camp during the Easter break. The camp ran on school premises for the first week of the Easter holiday, the camp was open to key stage three with the target of improving ability and skill whilst having fun in a safe environment. More than thirty students took part in the camp with more than ten different sports available, including football, rounders, dodge ball, table tennis and the use of the new fitness suite. All students thoroughly enjoyed the camp with the final day culminating in an Olympic games with presentations and prizes for teams and individuals. The sports camp was so successful that there has already been demand for a summer sport's camp. It has been suggested that the summer camp be opened up to year 6 students from our cluster in order for them to integrate better into the high school before their start in September, check the St Aidan's website for more details.
