Fleetwood/C.Allen Yr5/6 Sportshall Athletics
On Wednesday November 24th, over 150 pupils from 7 primary schools took part in a Wyre & Fylde SSP Sportshall Athletics competition at Thornton YMCA. It was an afternoon of enjoyment, excitement and a high standard of athletic ability.
St.Wulstans & St.Edmunds were the winners of the Cardinal Allen High School cluster and Shakespeare were the winners of the Fleetwood Sports College cluster. The two teams will now go on to the Wyre & Fylde School Sport Partnership Finals on January 24th at Blackpool Sports Centre. This event is one of the major highlights within the competition calendar. All schools taking part did so well and cheered their team mates on all afternoon. It's was great to see so many schools coming togerther and competeing in such a fun environment.
