St Aidan's year 7 pupils were given an excellent opportunity to pilot UK Athletics new indoor athletics scheme last month. Pupils were given the chance to try new activities and events under the watchful eye of UK Athletics coaches looking out for rising stars. More than sixty pupils took part with BTEC and GCSE students helping to record results.
All pupils involved in this pilot scheme will have the opportunity to review their results and voice their opinions to UK Athletics on whether they enjoyed the sessions and if they thought they were successful.
Well done to all those who took part
