Emerging Schools Table Tennis Tournament
Six of the Wyre and Fylde partnership schools took part in the emerging schools table tennis competition on Wednesday 4th November. Despite the awful weather outside, spirits and enthusiasm were high inside. Over forty pupils took part from across the schools with an under 14 and under 16 competition running alongside each other. Garstang table tennis club did a fantastic job of coordinating the event and making it such a success. The overall winners were:
U13's Boys Garstang High School
U13's Girls St Bedes RC High School
U16's Boys Fleetwood Sports College
U16's Girls Garstang High School
An excellent afternoon was had by all, and special credit to those pupils who took part, whose behaviour, was exemplary. If the tournament has inspired you to take up table tennis outside of school please follow the link below for your local club.
