CROSS COUNTRY

The next Fylde coast cross country event is due to take place 18th October.

The emphasis of the event is very much about fun and participation and is open to all schools from year 3-10. Schools may enter as many pupils as they wish.

Schools meet on the playing fields at Stanley park near the tennis courts.

There is no registration prior to each race. Names are recorded as the runners cross the finish line.

A commemorative certificate will be awarded to all participants.

The event will be staffed by Blackpool and Wyre & Fylde School Sports Co-ordinators and members from Blackpool & Fylde Athletics Club.

Should you require further information then telephone Lee Cadwallader, Competition/Club Links Manager on 07976 316480.
